Are you a Health and Safety Professional with experience on large capital development projects and looking to challenge your consultancy skills on one of the region’s most prestigious projects?
Jacobs and have partnered to form a consortium that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related programme management services for Expo 2020 Dubai development – the master district that will also host the Expo 2020 when the six-month event debuts in October 2020.
In its role as EX20’s real estate delivery partners on this project we are providing full service consultancy from programme as well as cost and commercial management, to design, construction and operations management for the end-to-end development and delivery of the Expo 2020 Dubai site within it.
Working within the Programme Assurance team and reporting to the Programme Health and Safety Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of the Programme’s H&S policy, strategy and deliverables as well as working through its supply chain partners.
You will be managing the development of H&S policies, strategies, programs and standards across the programme’s functions, providing input towards strategic direction whilst ensuring adequate procedures are implemented to evaluate the adequacy of H&S compliance and performance on site.
Communication is an important element to this role, ensuring staff are fully informed of the programme applicable legislative and assurance requirements, as well as coordinating the delivery of programme H&S meetings and workshops.About you
As a successful candidate you will be degree qualified, preferably in an occupational H&S discipline. Other degree disciplines will be considered, however need to be supported with Health and Safety professional qualifications such as NEBOSH.
You will be coming with at least 5 years of experience and will already be working in a H&S position on site in a multi stakeholder environment on a large construction project/programme.
