Chief Executive Officer Automotive – Mercedes-Benz GCC


My client is one of the leading multi-faceted companies within the GCC Region holding trading licences for some of the worlds renowned brands, including being the General Distributor for the entire range of Mercedes-Benz Cars and Commercial Vehicles in one of those countries.


The Role


The position reports to the Owners with responsibility for managing and achievement of Sales, Overheads and Profit Budgets for Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles (Sales and After Sales) multi location operations. In addition, the ideal candidate will be responsible for cost management, and maintaining excellent relationships with Daimler.


How You’ll Play Your Part


Responsible for planning the annual business targets and budgets in the key areas and closely monitor actual performance, develop business plans and strategy to meet the division objectives. Steer department general managers and managers in CV and PC Sales and After Sales area’s to achieve higher customer satisfaction, business efficiency as well as profitability. Responsible for setting key business targets and communicate related expectations to staff on a regular basis.


Closely monitor Dealer Retail Standards, monitoring the implementation of CRM programs, Marketing, advertising and special promotions.


Responsible for all budgetary elements of the business, regularly reviewing the balance sheet, income statement and cash-flow. Working closely with the business owners on major financial

decisions such as capital injection or new investment plans.


Building and maintaining good relationships with local government and authorities, as well as relationships with banks, insurance companies, local media, key suppliers and connecting with local competitors. Ensuring that the owners and Daimler regional office are kept up to date on the business operations and support and promote the dealership as a socially responsible company. You will also be responsible for risk management and people development.


About you


You should have experience of working as a senior director, or senior manager within a Daimler business for a minimum of 5 years.


On Offer


Basic salary of approximately £130,000 per annum. Plus 20% bonus on top of that which is paid annually.

You will also receive company provided accommodation, a Mercedes-Benz car, yearly flights, medical insurance, life assurance, 30 days paid leave and relocation support on joining.
